Intent to Sell
Intent to sell must be submitted by 9:00PM on March 5, 2025, to be eligible to sell at the Cowlitz County Fair
All Market Sale Intent to Sell forms must be submitted by Google Form, or post marked, by the date specified by the Cowlitz County Market Sale Committee (CCMSC). If the Intent to Sell form is not received by the specified date, the CCMSC has the right to refuse entry of the animal into the sale and the animal will not be sold in the auction.
If the Intent to Sell form due date is missed, then the youth may file a Late Intent Petition to the CCMSC for the animal’s acceptance into the Auction. Petitions will only be accepted for two weeks (14 days) past the original due date, or the date of beef weigh in, whichever comes first.
The petition must include:
· Intent to sell form
· Timeline of steps that were taken to rectify the situation
· Detailed explanation as to why the original due date was missed
· Be signed by the exhibitor, their parents, and project leader/advisor
Submitting a Late Intent Petition does not guarantee the approval by the CCMSC. Every youth may petition once, but the second offense of missing the Intent to Sell due date will result in an automatic denial by the CCMSC.
You can submit online by clicking on the Online Form
